Summer is here, and so is snack season! If your kids are like mine, they’re constantly asking for something cold and sweet—and I’m all about giving them options that taste like dessert without the added junk.
These fruit smoothie popsicles are packed with real fruit, protein-rich Greek yogurt, and a splash of natural sweetness from honey and bananas. Bonus? They’re just as fun to make as they are to eat!
🧊 Why I Love These:
- Made with just a handful of real ingredients
- No refined sugar or artificial flavors
- Great way to sneak in protein and probiotics
- Perfect for teething babies, toddlers, and honestly… adults too
🍌 Ingredients:
- 20 frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup 100% orange juice (check the label—just oranges!)
- 1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1–2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup, agave, or your sweetener of choice)
🧃 Instructions:
- In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion.
- Freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or overnight.
- To release, run warm water over the mold for 10–15 seconds.
🧸 Popsicle Molds I Recommend:
- Frozip – Easy to hold + classic shape, one time use
- Ice pop – Reusable silicone molds
- Rocket Ship or Dino Molds – Because everything tastes better when it’s fun-shaped!
These pops are a staple in our freezer all summer long. Whether we’re headed to the park or just playing in the backyard, I love knowing I have a quick, nutrient-packed treat ready to go.
